The Colonies Apartments – Sherman, TX | Cope Equities
JA Painting and More is currently providing multi-trade construction and finishing services for The Colonies Apartments in Sherman, Texas, in partnership with Cope Equities. This 172-unit project, now in progress, includes comprehensive interior and exterior improvements delivered through a streamlined, coordinated approach. Our scope includes complete drywall services from hang to finish, full interior and exterior painting, and millwork and hardware installation throughout the buildings. As part of the project, our team developed an alternative closet design that eliminated the need for traditional wire shelving, resulting in a cleaner look and a more efficient installation process without sacrificing functionality. By taking on three major trades under one contractor, JA Painting and More is able to coordinate scheduling more effectively, reduce delays between phases, and accelerate overall project timelines. This integrated approach allows for better quality control, consistency across units, and a smoother construction process from start to finish.
Cici’s Pizza – Kaufman, TX | Citadel Development Group
JA Painting and More partnered with Citadel Development Group on the interior finishing of the Cicis Pizza location in Kaufman, Texas. Our team began work after the drywall had been fully hung, taking the project from raw surfaces to a complete, finished interior. We performed a full Level 5 smooth wall finish, which included detailed surface preparation, skim coating, sanding, and final touch-ups to achieve a seamless, uniform appearance across all walls and ceilings. This level of finish is ideal for commercial spaces where lighting and visibility demand a clean, high-quality look. We applied bright, vibrant paint colors selected to reflect the brand’s lively and welcoming environment. The completed project resulted in a polished, modern interior with smooth finishes and bold color execution, meeting both aesthetic and performance expectations for a commercial restaurant setting.
Rivers Apartments – Kaufman, TX | Cope Equities
JA Painting and More provided complete drywall and painting services for the Rivers Apartments in Kaufman, Texas, completing both the interior and exterior paint for the entire building. Our team was brought in after another subcontractor left the drywall in poor condition, and we successfully corrected the work to deliver a significantly improved, high-quality finish throughout the property. Scope of work included full drywall hang, tape and bed, and texture, ensuring uniform surfaces ready for long-lasting paint application. We also completed Trim 1, 2, and 3, including doors, hardware installation, towel holders, and all interior finish details. For the clubhouse, JA Painting and More designed and built custom wall benches, a unique feature created and installed entirely by our team. The finished project delivered a cohesive, durable, and polished result across all living spaces, common areas, and exterior surfaces.
